1. How long does a painting project take?
- That's dependant on three main variables. Is it interior or exterior? What is the square footage? and whats the scope of work? A general estimate for a 2500 sqft interior premium painting package is 5-7 days or 2-4 days to complete for the exterior.
2. How long in advance would I need to schedule my project start date?
- We usually are booked 2 to 3 weeks in advance but we are very accommodating and can be flexible around your timeline.
3. Is pressure cleaning included?
- Absolutely yes. It is a mandatory step to prepare the surface to be painted. Pressure cleaning removes dust and dirt and aids in a smooth application. Pressure cleaning is critical to ensuring the longevity of your painting job.
4. Is it ok to use paint and primer in one?
- It depends. It is a great option for an interior repaint but not recommended for the exterior. We always recommend a full and separate coat of primer to be applied to the exterior substrate to improve paint adhesion.
5. Do we paint pool decks, driveways, and sidewalks?
- Yes, we do! First, we pressure clean then we use a specialized concrete coating called Heavy Sheild and apply it to the manufactures specifications. Request additional information, no warranty for horizontal surfaces
6. Can raw brick be painted?
- Yes, keep in mind the high porosity or brick so often times it requires 3 or more coats of paint to ensure a uniform finish.
7. How do I select colors?
- There are several options, here are just a few. One, visit your local Sherwin Williams and see the different color palettes in person. Second, you can use a great tool offered online through Sherwin Williams called the Color Visualizer. Third, hire an interior designer!
8. How many people with be working on my project?
- A crew consists of 2-4 men. You will have a job supervisor on-site during the duration of your project and the person who performed your estimate will also be available should you need them at any time.
9. Do you remove popcorn ceiling or do any drywall work?
- Yes and yes!
10. What forms of payment do you accept?
- We accept all major credit cards as well as checks and cash.
